The short version
  • Your information is never sold, rented, or traded. We share it only with the parties listed in section 5.
  • We share it only with the insurance company you ask us to quote with (Farmers®, or another insurer through a Farmers-affiliated brokerage when you ask us to shop it), service providers under contract, when the law requires it, in a sale of the agency, or with your permission.
  • We call and text only people who asked us to, about their quote and related insurance. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by calling (914) 419-8000 or writing to our office.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how The Natelli Agency ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information through natelliagency.com (the "Site").

We are a local insurance agency in West Chester, Pennsylvania, led by Louis Natelli, a Farmers® Insurance agent. Farmers comes first; when Farmers isn't the right fit, we can look at other insurance companies, placed through Farmers-affiliated brokerages. You can reach us at (914) 419-8000 or by mail at 1240 W Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382.

As an insurance agency, we are a "financial institution" under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA"). The personal information you give us to obtain insurance may also be protected by Pennsylvania's insurance privacy regulations (31 Pa. Code Chapters 146a, 146b, and 146c) and other applicable state insurance law.

Each insurance company has its own privacy notice, and the insurer usually delivers it to you directly. Once you apply for or buy a Farmers policy, Farmers' own privacy notice governs the information Farmers holds. You can read it at the Farmers Privacy Center and in the Farmers Privacy Statement. If another insurance company writes your policy, that company's privacy notice applies to the information it holds.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through the Site, including our guided quote form, our short quote request form, the ZIP-code quote starters on our coverage pages, and quote requests sent through AI assistants that use the tools published on this Site.

It does not cover the separate privacy practices of the insurance companies that underwrite and issue the policies we place. Once your information is submitted to an insurer for a quote or for underwriting, that insurer's own privacy notice also governs how it handles your information. Information you give us by phone or in person is handled consistently with this policy.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

Depending on which form you use, we collect:

  • Contact information — your first and last name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and (on the guided quote form) your full street address
  • Date of birth, gender, and marital status — on the guided quote form only, because insurers may use them to rate and price coverage where the law permits. We treat your date of birth as sensitive: we use these details only to prepare your quote and never for advertising.
  • Vehicle and driver information — the year, make, and model of each vehicle, and the drivers in your household
  • Home information — details about the property you want to insure, such as property type, approximate age, square footage, and number of stories
  • Current insurance information — whether you are currently insured and, if so, your current insurance company
  • Your requests and messages — the coverage you are interested in, the best time to reach you, and any notes you choose to add
  • Your consent record — the consent wording you agreed to and its version, the button you clicked, the page you were on, and the date and time you submitted

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, health information, credit information, payment card numbers, or bank account information through this Site. If an insurer needs any of that later in the application process, it is collected through the insurer's or agency's secure systems, not through this website.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and approximate location — on the guided quote form, a location service (ipapi.co) estimates your state and ZIP code from your IP address so we can pre-fill parts of the form
  • Traffic-source information — the website that referred you, the page you first landed on, and any campaign tags or ad click IDs in the link you followed (such as UTM codes), sent with a form you submit so we know how you found us
  • Device and browser information — your browser's user agent (browser type and device), sent with a form you submit, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider

Information from service providers

  • Address suggestions — when you begin typing your address, Google Maps Platform suggests complete, standardized addresses
  • Contact verification — AbstractAPI checks whether the email address and phone number you enter appear to be real, which reduces errors and prevents fraudulent submissions

4. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Prepare and deliver the insurance quote you requested
  • Contact you about your quote and related insurance products and services by phone, text message, or email, as you agreed
  • Submit your information to Farmers or, when you ask us to shop your coverage, to another insurance company through a Farmers-affiliated brokerage, so the insurer can evaluate, price, and service your coverage
  • Verify that the contact information you gave us is accurate
  • Service your policy and respond to your questions if you become a client
  • Keep a record of your consent and honor your opt-out requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with our legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations, including insurance recordkeeping requirements

Your personal information is not used to train artificial intelligence models by us. Our service providers handle data under their own terms, listed in the Cookies and online tools table. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, except that our forms automatically screen out phone numbers and email addresses that a verification service flags as invalid or high-risk. If that happens to you, call us at (914) 419-8000.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the parties listed in this section 5:

With the insurance company you ask us to quote with

We share your quote information with Farmers, and, when Farmers isn't the right fit and you ask us to shop your coverage, with another insurance company through a Farmers-affiliated brokerage that places that coverage. A Farmers-affiliated brokerage we use to place a policy with another insurer may contact you only about that policy request, and won't use your information for its own marketing. Where it applies, we also share it with the program that writes the coverage you choose (for example, the National Flood Insurance Program for flood coverage). Insurers may also obtain information about you from consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records, and insurance loss history databases as part of underwriting.

With service providers under contract

We use a small number of service providers that process information on our behalf to provide services to us. They are listed in the Cookies and online tools table below: our website host, the service that delivers form submissions to our agency's systems, address lookup, location lookup, and contact verification.

When the law requires it

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulatory request, including examinations by the Pennsylvania Insurance Department or another state insurance regulator; to establish or defend legal claims; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our clients, our agency, or the public.

If our agency is sold or transferred

If our agency is sold, merged, or transferred, client information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to the protections in this policy.

With your permission

We will share your information in any other way only if you ask us to or give us permission.

6. We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information. We are not a lead generator. We never sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the parties listed in section 5. Your information is never sold, rented, or traded to other insurance agencies, lead aggregators, comparison websites, or anyone else for their own marketing. You will not receive calls from other agents because you filled out our form.

We do not pass the contents of your quote form — your name, date of birth, address, phone, email, vehicle details, home details, or insurance history — to Google, Meta, or any other advertising platform. (Google's address lookup service sees the address characters you type so it can suggest a complete address; it does not receive the rest of your form.)

7. Calls and text messages

When you submit one of our forms, you agree that The Natelli Agency (Louis Natelli, a Farmers® Insurance agent) and its staff may contact you by call, text message, and email about your insurance quote and related insurance products and services, including marketing calls and texts made using automated technology or an artificial or prerecorded voice, at the number and address you provided, as described in the consent wording shown with the form. Federal law (the Telephone Consumer Protection Act) requires your prior express written consent for those calls and texts. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing anything, and you can get a quote by calling us instead. Only licensed members of our team discuss coverage or quote insurance.

Requests from an AI assistant. A quote request relayed by an AI assistant on your behalf is not an electronic signature by you. We'll contact you only by a person, by phone or email, about that request, and we won't send automated calls or texts or treat you as having agreed to arbitration until you confirm directly.

  • Who we contact — we only call or text people who asked us to, and existing customers about their policies. Pennsylvania law (as amended by Act 47 of 2026) treats text messages as telephone solicitations and requires written consent for robocalls. If we ever make telephone solicitations, we follow the calling hours Pennsylvania's Act 47 of 2026 sets for them: 9 a.m.–7 p.m. (recipient's local time) and not on Sundays. We never disguise our caller ID.
  • Opting out of texts — reply STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text. STOP ends all automated and prerecorded calls and texts from us to that number. We may send one confirmation text with no marketing content, and then we stop.
  • Help — reply HELP to any text, or call (914) 419-8000.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Any reasonable way works — you can also withdraw consent by telling a member of our team on a call or by writing to our office. We honor opt-outs within 10 business days of receiving them, and we aim to do it sooner.
  • Do Not Call — if you ask us not to call or text you, we add your number to our internal Do Not Call list and honor that request for ten years, unless you later ask us to contact you again. Before any call or text that the law requires us to screen, we check the National Do Not Call Registry and Pennsylvania's Do Not Call list as the law requires (the Pennsylvania Do Not Call list is kept by the Pennsylvania Attorney General, 1-888-777-3406).
  • Call recording — we don't record calls without the consent of all parties, as Pennsylvania law requires.
  • Account messages — if you are a client and opt out, we will still reach you about an existing policy (for example, renewals, billing, or claims) by manual phone call, email, or mail, not by automated text.

Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver our own messages.

This Site uses a small number of outside services. Each one may receive your IP address and basic browser information when your browser loads it.

Your choices

  • Global Privacy Control — if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising-related sharing for that browser. If we add advertising measurement tools later, they will not load for a browser that sends GPC.
  • Do Not Track — there is no common standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, so the Site does not respond to them. We honor Global Privacy Control instead.
  • Your browser — you can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
  • Contact us — you can also ask us to opt you out using the details in How to reach us.

9. Your privacy rights

Under insurance privacy law

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Pennsylvania's insurance privacy regulations (31 Pa. Code Chapters 146a, 146b, and 146c) limit how nonpublic personal information collected in connection with an insurance transaction may be disclosed, and they may also apply to information we hold. The insurance company that issues your policy usually delivers its own privacy notice. Many requests about underwriting records are handled by the insurer, and we will help you reach the right place.

Pennsylvania residents

Pennsylvania does not have a comprehensive consumer privacy law in effect. A proposed Consumer Data Privacy Act (House Bill 78) is pending and is not yet law. We still offer the rights below to Pennsylvania residents, including the right to appeal.

Our practice, wherever you live

As a matter of agency practice, wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete information we are not required to keep
  • Opt out of advertising-related sharing
  • Get a copy of the information you gave us

Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights. We honor the requests above regardless of the state you live in.

How to make a request. Call (914) 419-8000, or write to The Natelli Agency, Attn: Privacy Requests, 1240 W Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382. We will verify your identity by matching details you have already given us before we release or delete information. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask for proof that you gave the agent permission and ask you to confirm your identity directly. We generally respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why, and we may extend once by up to 45 more days.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by calling us or by writing to our office with "Privacy Appeal" at the top of your letter, within a reasonable time after our decision. We will respond in writing within 60 days and explain what we decided and why. If you are still not satisfied, you may file a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General (Bureau of Consumer Protection, 1-800-441-2555) or, for insurance questions, contact the Pennsylvania Insurance Department at 1-877-881-6388.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Some records must be kept even if you ask us to delete them: insurance law and our agreements with the insurance companies we work with require us to keep insurance transaction records for a set period.

10. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission of data submitted through this Site and access controls limiting who in our agency can view client information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission.

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify affected people without unreasonable delay, as Pennsylvania's Insurance Data Security Act (Act 2 of 2023), its Breach of Personal Information Notification Act, and other applicable law require. Please do not send Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or financial account details to us by ordinary email or text.

11. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and client records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, regulatory, and insurance-company recordkeeping obligations, and longer where a policy, claim, or dispute requires it. If a request fails to reach our systems, a copy is kept in our hosting provider's backup store only until we recover it, then deleted. We keep consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to prove and honor them, including ten years for Do Not Call requests. When information is no longer needed, we dispose of it securely.

12. Children's privacy

This Site is intended for adults seeking insurance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this Site. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party websites

Our Site links to websites we do not control, including insurance company websites (such as Farmers), government websites, and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. Review their privacy notices before giving them information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices, our tools, or the law change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make a material change to how we use or share personal information, we will give more prominent notice before the change applies to information we already hold.

15. How to reach us
